Mario from Spain, 5 years old, received official ARISS SSTV Award for his activity

Released for the ARISS end of year SSTV event, the official ARISS SSTV Award was again a great success, with more than 3911 awards submitted.

Within all, there is one very special, submitted by Mario, 5 years old, very excited for “receiving electronic postcards from the ISS”.  His father tells: Mario is 5 years old and wants to become an astronaut. The activity and the diploma has been a boost in his expectations! He has been talking about ARISS all these weeks at school (“The ISS has been sending me these beautiful postcards and I received this incredible diploma”) and we cannot wait for the next transmission. Meanwhile we are playing with the NOAA and Meteor M2 satellites :-).”

Can’t wait to have you in space Mario, and maybe talk via Ham Radio! 73

The ISSFanClub thanks ARISS, with a very special mention for Slawek SQ3OOK and Armand SP3QFE
