This is a video that features audio of the first ham radio contact between an astronaut and Earth. The astronaut was Owen Garriott W5LFL and the ham operator he spoke with was Lance Collister WA1JXN in Frenchtown, Montana. This video is meant to commemorate this historic contact and to honor Owen Garriott who passed away recently on April 15, 2019.
