NORTHROP GRUMMAN’S CYGNUS CARGO CRAFT ARRIVES AT THE SPACE STATION
Loaded with food, fuel, and supplies, the unpiloted Northrop Grumman CRS-16 cargo ship arrived to the International Space Station August 12 where it was installed to the nadir port of the Unity module. Dubbed the “SS Ellison Onizuka” for the late NASA astronaut who was lost in the 1986 Challenger accident, Cygnus launched from the Wallops Flight Facility on August 10 atop an Antares rocket and will remain docked to the space station for approximately two months.
